I was Principal Lighting Artist on Back 4 Blood. I was in charge of establishing mood, skies, lighting pipeline, and post processing. I also helped a lot with look development/texturing workflows and pipelines. This map was our vertical slice map and was used to help us answer a lot of questions about Back 4 Blood's look. It was an awesome collaboration with Concept, Design, Environments, Characters, and Lighting to nail down the heart of the game. I lit the map in different ways to achieve different moods and try to help answer what our tone would be.
